Missing Geoff today. Like many other days, some inside joke will come up and I'll want to share a laugh with him. Today, it's John Lennon's 80th birthday. Geoff always celebrated John's birthday, so Oct. 9th always reminds me of Geoff and his love for...  more

Geoff was one of my very best friends in this life. I knew Geoff for over twenty-five years. I loved him as a brother. I miss him now when I think of all the laughs we shared, even in texts earlier this year.

Both Geoff and I have always enjoyed our music. His passion and musical tastes, however, have always been much more diverse than mine. How does one reconcile to the fact that the son was teaching the father (rather than vice versa). Over time he...  more

Jill Morell MSU tailgates will never be the same without Geoff! He was one of the most consistent attendees and was always willing to get up and out there early ( with my brother Brad) to secure our tailgate spot!

In Colorado, we called Geoff Eise. He was smart and kind and dependable. But what I will remember most is how funny he was. When he got on a roll at a party or a campfire, he would have everybody laughing out loud, hanging on his every word. I have a...  more

Brandon Amato I have at least one of the MJ's Illegitimate Daughters cassette tapes. I'll have to join you for an Eisie when we listen to that one. I miss him more every time I think of him, which is a lot these days.

Brandon Amato That was a great hike up to the Devil's Causeway in Flat Tops. Geoff powered up that trail like he'd never left Colorado. I guess the mountain air was still in his blood.

Geoff loved going to Detroit Tigers baseball games and hanging out with his cousins. He took this picture at one of the games we all went to. We came up with so many inside jokes about this picture and every time I see it, it still makes me laugh.
