Geoff and I would eat lunch together everyday our Senior year. We'd eat in the Canton cafeteria, always cheeseburgers. I remember it relating to the Jimmy Buffet song. I remember a camping trip a bunch of us went on, Ryan Fitzpatrick poured gasoline on the camp fire...seemed like a good idea at the time, his intentions were well meaning, trying to get it going and all. Geoff sprang into action grabbing a fire extinguisher from the vehicle we drove up in to pretty much save the camp ground and what I would say is Fitzpatrick's career. Not sure Ryan would be Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Lapeer County without the then reaction time of Geoff. RIP Geoff Eisenlord. Very fond memories I have.
