Ann Marie Winder, born in San Diego, California on January 27, 1949, passed peacefully in her sleep December 6, 2021. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Margaret Hawkinson. Ann retired from the San Diego Unified School District where she was a teacher for over 36 years; over 30 years in the same classroom at Benchley-Weinberger Elementary. She obtained her Masters in education from San Diego State University. She was an active and beloved member of the Christmas Potluck Club for over 45 years. Ann is remembered fondly and appreciated by her classmates of San Diego High School class of 66 and a valuable participant in planning class reunions. Long time member of First Presbyterian Church of San Diego, where she met her husband of 33 years, Tim Winder. Ann served as an Elder and chairperson for the City Tree School and hosted bible studies from her home for over 20 years. Ann loved to travel. Elizabeth (Beth, Liz) Rosetes, 71, of Manilla, Philippines passed away peacefully at Saint Therese at St. Odillia on December 23, 2021, after a long battle with several health conditions. Elizabeth spent her youth in the Philippines before moving to the...  moreElizabeth (Beth, Liz) Rosetes, 71, of Manilla, Philippines passed away peacefully at Saint Therese at St. Odillia on December 23, 2021, after a long battle with several health conditions. Elizabeth spent her youth in the Philippines before moving to the United States as a young adult, living in California and Alaska before settling in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Elizabeth was an active member in Pneuma Church along with her husband of over 30 years, Rick Rosetes. She is also survived by her five children Marissa (Nancy) Ambrose, Rose (Cherry) Buenaventura, Alma Martin, Alan Bascao, and Zack Lumitap Jr. She had nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also leaves behind her brother, Joel Ambrose and sister, Joyce Ambrose.

A memorial service will be held at Community of Nations Church in Roseville, Minnesota on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 am. Following the service food and refreshments will be provided to gather and celebrate Elizabeth’s life. Virtual attendance at the service will also...    less

Sue's husband, Dave McCain, will open the celebration of life.  Following his words, we will have "Open Worship”, a period where family and friends may, as they feel inspired, give their own messages, special memories and thoughts to the family and the rest of the group.

Amelia had been tirelessly battling cancer since birth, yet Amelia was always a happy baby. Although we’ve had our highs and lows, Amelia was a very loved and adored little girl and she loved us very much. Amelia loved having people around to talk to her and play with her. Colette Garrison born May 19, 1933 and passed away on January 31, 2022 from Covid-related pneumonia. She lived most of her life in the Sacramento area where she raised four children with her husband, Lowell Garrison, whom she married in July 1954. Born...  moreColette Garrison born May 19, 1933 and passed away on January 31, 2022 from Covid-related pneumonia. She lived most of her life in the Sacramento area where she raised four children with her husband, Lowell Garrison, whom she married in July 1954. Born and raised in San Francisco, Colette graduated high school from the Convent of the Sacred Heart and matriculated to UC Berkeley where she obtained a degree in English in 1954. Later in life when her children were in school, she attended UC Davis and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts

Colette contributed to the growth of the Sacramento Arts community by co-founding Jennifer Pauls Gallery in Old Sacramento in 1970. She also worked as an interior designer and founded Blue Ribbon Stables, a prominent horse farm training dressage horses and teaching the sport of vaulting to children.

She joined her children’s participation in the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, 4-H, and the American Vaulting Association. She was active in the Sacramento...    less
