Richard Carl Peterjohn passed away on Saturday, October 31st at the age of 86. Peterjohn was a husband, father, grandfather, accomplished athlete and celebrated educator. Peterjohn was a husband, father, grandfather, accomplished athlete and celebrated educator. He was born October 30th, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. He enjoyed an adventurous and active childhood of playing sports, scouting and exploring the Adirondacks with beloved cousins in the summers. He graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1953, and went on to study and play baseball at University of Michigan, where he earned multiple varsity letters.

After graduating in 1957, Peterjohn taught in Germany with the US Armed Forces. He returned to Cleveland and began a long career in education as a teacher, coach, counselor, assistant principal and principal in the Shaker public schools. Along the way, he earned a doctorate at Michigan State University, where his scholarship focused on the power of optimism in education. While we cannot physically be together during this difficult time, we can virtually share stories and memories of family members, friends, and friends of IL-3 who have passed.

Every quarter, IL-3 will donate $250 to a local charity in memory of our loved ones.

*To ensure HIPAA compliance, we will refrain from discussing deceased patients, though they too will be very missed.

Mike was born in Fresno, California in 1947. He graduated from Los Gatos high school in xxxx.

Mike married Kathy in xx and liz in xxx

Mike worked as an auto body repair man for more than 30 years. His largest passion was gold dredging. farming, xyz

Mike is survived by his two children, David and Lori and his grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, Julia, Jacqueline, Michael and Matthew.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held in 2021 after Corona.

Jalena Faith Wilson Page, 47, of Amelia, Ohio and formerly of Kirbyville, born July 17, 1973 in Jasper, TX, and passed from this life December 4, 2020 in Batavia, OH. She spent her childhood years in Kirbyville, and was active in her family's gospel...  moreJalena Faith Wilson Page, 47, of Amelia, Ohio and formerly of Kirbyville, born July 17, 1973 in Jasper, TX, and passed from this life December 4, 2020 in Batavia, OH. She spent her childhood years in Kirbyville, and was active in her family's gospel singing group, “The Wilson Family Singers”.

Service will be held December 10, at Adams E.E. Stringer Funeral home at 2:00 pm, with visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 pm. Burial will be in the Bean Cemetery, in Kirbyvile.

She is survived by her husband, David Page and son, Aaron Wilson both of Amelia, OH; parents, Donald and Patricia Wilson of Carthage; brother, Richard Wilson and wife, Linda of Carthage; and Pamela Dorris and husband, Wesley of Jefferson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her grandparents, Conrad and Ruby Wilson of Kirbyville, and Knox and Vada Shelton of Longview.  less
