Robert Nolen of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the age of 69 years.



Robert was born in Halifax, NS, on September 23, 1950. Bob moved to Bowsman, MB, with his family in 1965 where he attended high school. Within a few years, he moved to Winnipeg, MB, where he met and married his first wife, and his son Trent was born. He then moved to Spruce Grove, AB, and finally Calgary, AB, where he permanently resided since 1980. There he had his second-born Megan Nolen, and shortly thereafter he married his second wife Sharon in 1992.



Robert accomplished much throughout his life, working in Telecommunications which gave him the opportunity to travel the world. Robert’s most memorable vacation was when he travelled to France, where he enjoyed sightseeing and indulging in exquisite foods. My body was like a 1952 Studebaker, sporty for it's time, but had some dents in the back, right rear wheel wobbled and the driver side door only opened half way. Hard to see out of the windshield, but had a great radio and was real comfortable inside. Well, the fuel pump finally gave out. Anyway, I am going to miss you all, not sure where I'm going to end up, but hope I can find a guitar or two, got some new songs.  

Mohinder Dhesi, of Mahal, Punjab, India, passed away on the Friday morning of January 17, 2020. Mohinder was born March 11, 1937 and was the eldest of 11 siblings. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her entire family.
