Win, my great inspiration, with great sense of humor, a nature lover and fast runner and oh how you would laugh when we tried to climb the tree and then fell on the ground, or how you would roll your eyes at me if I suggested doing something you weren’t feeling in that moment, and yeah, you could be pretty stubborn too!
You loved being up in the Oak woods, finding paths, running and climbing, stopping to feel the wind, cupping your ear to hear the birds sing, finding my eyes from a distance and signing ‘bird’ to me, then off again!
Is it time for bread? Not yet, soon... And egg? Oh yes, egg too:)

One of my most recent memories of Winnie is him going into the kitchen, thoughtfully collecting all of the necessary items, and pulling a kitchen stool to the countertop to make himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich mid-way through our speech session! The world has a lost brilliant light. My deepest condolences to Seana, Dan, Valentine, Wilder and Ani. I’m thinking of you all daily and sending love as you begin to process this tremendous loss. less

Dear Seana, Dan, Valentine, Wilder and Ani~ I have a wonderful memory of playing with Win in the meadow at school, where I pretended we were butterflies and were chasing each other, laughing. I would land in the grass and he would rush towards me with the biggest smile he owned. Then I'd flap my wings and circle around him as he crouched, watching in wonder... beginning the chase all over again! I will always remember Win's innocent, heartwarming manner and all the times I chased him across the lawn (even when we weren't playing "butterflies"). May his path to Paradise be bright with flowers, bathed in sunshine, and riddled with colorful butterflies. My deepest condolences and myriad tender blessings as you grieve.

Our hearts break with yours over this tremendous loss. Words are insufficient to express our condolences. A precious light has gone out in this world with Win’s passing and the pain reverberates through our community, but his smile and his sweetness are everlasting. Our son, James, was in Win’s class. At almost five, he has been speaking more and more of death. A few weeks ago, he told me that “When we die, we turn to dirt but then the love bursts out of us and blows all over the world like blowing on a dandelion. After that the flowers grow.” We will by looking for Win in fields of dandelions and flowers. We will be holding your family in our hearts.
