She had a short but feirce battle with lung cancer. She was only 51 when she was rushed to the ER on November 1st and lost her fight on December 28th. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and though we knew it was going to be a hard fight she was so determined we really thought she would win. She is no longer in pain or suffering; after the life she had we can be happy for that.
OBITUARY
Wendy L Rock was an interesting character and we believe if you had ever met her you would agree. Wendy had truly suffered. In her life time she had faced so many negative circumstances, injury, pain, and loss; it's a wonder she kept that bright demeanour for so long. She was the type to suffer quietly and put on the brave face for others. She never wanted people to worry or fuss over her even during her struggle with cancer. She was such a strong person.
Our my mom inspired many people in ways they can't even imagine. She embodied strength through dire odds, fighting despite prognosis, friendly and fun, and always there despite her own situation. She was truly a unique and loved person. She will be missed by many.
