Torrajer Arna Charles (a.k.a Peggy, a.k.a Torra) was born January December 29, 1991 in Queens, New York, the daughter of Frankie Lee and Jean (Mario) Charles. She was an extremely bright, spirited child who was ready to rule the world. Torrajer loved spending time with her parents Jean and Frankie (Deceased) regularly riding around in the backseat of their car. In 1997, her world changed forever with the heartbreaking passing of her mother. Despite her young age she could recall many fond memories of her mother Frankie. She always expressed her deep love and yearning for her, and that weighed heavy on her heart. After some time she would become the little shadow of her father, everywhere he would go, she went. They could not fool anyone about being father and daughter because their walk was identical. Torra and her Dad (IO) made a big move from their Merrick apartment to their first home in Queens Village. Peggy (her childhood nickname) was now closer to her family, spending lots of time with her dad and sisters riding around Queens and Long Island. Shopping was a regular family activity. Peggy made a lot of new friends, some of whom became family (Sharayer, Kyara, Keston, Keon, Alex and Kevin) spending days and nights at her house having a good time, and being there anytime she needed them. You may have found her to be quiet, shy, and reserved but you didn’t want to get on her bad side. She wouldn’t let anyone get over on her. Peggy had a kind heart, was very generous and giving. She was also humble and protective of her friends and family.
The greatest moment in Torrajer’s life occurred when she welcomed her son Prince Giovanni Jean Eaton into the world on October 13, 2013. She literally gave birth to her twin and the two were inseparable. There was not a thing she wouldn’t do for her son, she made sure to celebrate all his birthdays with family and friends every year, her legacy forever lives in him, as they shared a bond that will never be broken. Twins for Life.
Accomplishments
Torra had a hidden talent and passion for event planning and used her business savvy skills to start up her own event planning company Ambitious Eventsz and just last year started up Fetching Lashes. Once she found something she was interested;she would jump on it. Together with her partner Tori, she helped create very special memories for all their customers. Peggy loved to host events right in her backyard, the shy girl we all knew could also throw a party and always welcomed everyone. Her home lit up the neighborhood and she was that girl that everybody knew. Her smile was infectious and could light up a room. I think we will all miss that smile the most.
