Victoria Lee Reilly passed away August 16th, 2019, at the age of 53 after valiantly fighting cancer. Her husband, Keith, was by her side every step of this journey. Tori was born July 3, 1966 in Van Nuys, California, the only child of Hal and Rebecca Jensen. Her family moved to Valley Center in 1977, from Palos Verdes, when Tori was 10 years old. She graduated from Orange Glen High School in 1984, and attended Brigham Young University. She married Keith Mark Reilly in 1986, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Los Angeles Temple. They made their home in Valley Center and are active members of their church. Everyone who knew Tori found her to be full of grace and beauty, not only physically, but in the way she handled every aspect of her life. She was resilient, reliable and thorough, and never did anything half way. She was an exceptional wife and mother of five children. Tori excelled in the most important things in life. She served as a leader in her church, local schools, and was very involved in her children’s activities. Her family was the center of her life.
Tori loved vacations and adventures with her family. Some of her favorite trips were waterskiing at Lake Powell, skiing in Utah, and trips to Hawaii. She loved Carlsbad beach and family bike rides around Coronado Island. Tori and Keith enjoyed a fierce, ongoing competition at card and chess games (Tori was usually the victor). She loved to read and learn. Tori was talented at creating a beautiful home where everyone felt welcome.
Tori is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 33 years, Keith Reilly and their children: Paige Steckling (Mike); Regan Gilster (Daniel); Sidney Unga (Morgan); Rhett Reilly; and Trent Reilly. Grandsons: MJ Steckling; Cal Gilster; and West Steckling. Tori is also survived by her loving parents, Hal and Rebecca Jensen; in-laws, Wayne and Gail Reilly; sister-in-law, Wendy Kimball (Scott); brother-in-law, Russ Reilly (Kris); and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Tori’s Life will be held September 9, 2019, at Coronado Island.
