Stephen "Steve" Ray Rivkin was born to Jon and Vicki Rivkin on February 6th, 1965 in Wichita Falls, Texas where he spent his childhood growing up with his only sibling, Brian. Steve moved to the DFW area early in his adult life where he worked as an LVN and started his family. In more recent years, Steve flourished as a well respected and hardworking Wound Care Specialist. 

It is not a surprise that Steve has a passion for helping others, not only demonstrated in his careers but his personal life as well. Steve was the one person you could count on if you were in a bind, always willing to stop whatever he was doing to help a friend in need. His coworkers and patients had nothing but wonderful things to say about him no matter what job or facility he was at. 

Steve was a man full of talents. He could build or fix anything, whether it was building a motorcycle from boxes of parts, fixing a totaled car on his own, or renovating houses. There was nothing he couldn't do! Throughout his whole life, he had a love for cars and motorcycles, spending a lot of his time working on them as his most cherished hobby. One of his favorite events to do every year was the Toys for Tots runs with his motorcycle association. 

He had quite a knack for collecting sports memorabilia, most of which were some of his most prized possessions. Steve also loved to cook and was phenomenal at it, even winning multiple chili cook-off competitions. And you could never find a better person at carving a turkey during the holidays. Growing up working at the Rivkin Pharmacy as a teenager made him the best gift wrapper you would ever meet too.

Anyone who knew Steve knows he was the biggest goofball and a kid at heart, always fun and making people laugh which made him even more enjoyable to be around.

Steve has survived by his two daughters Alyx (29) and Lindsay (26), his mother Vicki, sister in law Karie, nephews Zach and Zeke, and niece Taylar. Steve's positive impact on the world will never be forgotten and he will forever be in our hearts. We love and miss you more than ever and find comfort in knowing you are home with the Lord, and we look forward to seeing you again someday in Heaven.
