On Sunday February 23, 2020, Srinivasan Subrahmanyam of Los Angeles, CA, loving son, husband, brother, uncle and friend left for heavenly abode at the age of 60 after bravely battling illness. He is survived by his loving wife Vanitha Hari, his mother Maduram, his siblings Visalakshi, Sriram, Kumar and Lakshmi and her husband Ramesh, niece Mita and nephew Ajeeth, sister-in-law Jaya, brother-in-law Srikanth. He was devoted to his mother. He would call her everyday to check on her to hear how her day went. His mischievous and humorous conversations with her never failed to bring a smile to her face. He was a devoted brother, always caring and supportive of his siblings in every way.

Srini, known as Sridhar to his family and friends, was selfless and compassionate to a fault. His sense of humor and outgoing personality shone brightly wherever he went. Srini always generously gave of himself, his time, and his resources to everyone who came into his life. Srini always liked family gatherings where he enjoyed eating together and cracking jokes the most.

Srini was born in Madras, India at the Triplicane Hospital in Oct 1959. He was raised with his siblings in a fun loving family by his parents Shri Subrahmanyam and Shrimati Maduram in Bhilai, Madhya Pradesh. After his high school in Bhilai, Srini went on to get his B.Com degree from Andhra University, Vizag.

Srini started his career in accounting in Madras with an industrial equipment distributor. He was a gregarious people-loving person. His outgoing and extroverted personality helped him find success in a sales career with Modi Xerox and Claridges Hotel in New Delhi. Srini migrated to the US in 1997 and initially worked in Atlanta in IT recruiting and human resource management. He subsequently moved to Los Angeles for a long career as an Operations Manager with an air freight company in El Segundo, CA. He was loved everywhere he worked for his cheerful personality.

Srini was an avid reader. He loved to travel. He had passion for car shows and driving cars. He found happiness in little things in life – family get-togethers, cooking for his family and friends his favorite snacks that reminded of his childhood years in Bhilai and Madras, like making bajjis and pakoras for them. His actively participated at the temple and various charities with his unfailing devotion.

We are forever grateful to him for having been in our lives. We will miss his kind words, forgiving nature, intelligence, generosity of spirit and big hugs.
