She was born on September 25th, 1940 in San Jose CA to Frank and Imogene George. She married her best friend and love Norman Bolton Tevis on September 24th, 1966.
She was survived by her husband Norman, her sister Diane, her two daughters Brenda and Monica, four grandchildren; Frank, Justin, Vanessa and Ashley, and one great-grandchild; Brantley.
Graduated from San Jose High School then studied at San Jose State for Child Development and Classical Music.
She worked as a medical transcriber at San Jose Hospital for 30 years.
Roberta had an intense love for teaching. She was involved with 4H for 30 plus years. She considered all her 4H members as her family. She was also involved with the Fairweather Riders and California State Horseman Association.
After retiring, she enjoyed “digging up the dead” with collecting Family Genealogy and Family History. She also enjoyed gardening, trips to the beach and spending time with her family.
