On September 11, 2020, another kind, loving, and patient soul was gracefully taken by angels into heaven. Born October 1, 1933, Robert Matoh was raised in Milwaukee with Slovenian traditions and Catholic schooling by Joseph and Mary Matoh. He was a quiet man who was close to his only sister Josephine Lange who adored him and nicknamed him "Bobby." He graduated from Notre Dame School of Milwaukee in 1951 and joined the Army in 1957.
Out of high school, Robert entered an apprenticeship at Kearney & Trecker Company where he spent 35 years as buyer and sales representative. During this time, he met his wife Donna and spent the next 42 years as a loyal, dedicated partner, husband, and stepfather. After K & T closed their doors, Robert worked in the tool department at Sears in Brookfield Square. He enjoyed trap shooting, golfing, jogging along the lakefront, downhill skiing, racquetball, fishing, bowling, and held season tickets to his favorite sports team, the Green Bay Packers.
Robert was a simple man who loved dogs and being a grandpa to his three grandkids. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Donnamae; his two stepdaughters, Michelle (Brent Dorshkind) and Theresa (Tom Lassa); his three grandchildren, Madyson, Jacob, and Ryan; his sisters in-law, Becky (Ed Byron),and Connie (Steven Jacobs); his sister, Josephine Lange; and his nieces and nephews, Linda, Johanna, Jean, John. April, Bryan, Nicole, Javier, Richard, Stephanie and Patricia.
May his soul rest in peace and the memories of his spirit be remembered for years to come.
