Paul Lawrence Wilson III, 67, of Peachtree Corners, GA, passed away on December 31, 2020.

Paul was born on July 11, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI and was raised in Compton, California.  He attended the University of Southern California where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Science from the School of Business.  

Paul successfully owned and operated Golden West Building Management for 27 years. A jack-of-all-trades, Paul also maintained certifications in IT, tax preparation, and construction. Upon moving to Alpharetta, GA in 2004, Paul pursued his passions of working with his hands and serving his community, establishing Wilson Handyman and Construction Service. Through his work, he provided families and local businesses with renovation, restoration, and construction services.  Paul’s ability to see the potential in even the toughest projects was unmatched. He saw beauty in all things and spared no effort to bring his visions to life. 

Paul lived a life of purpose, passion, and duty. He loved to travel, enjoyed vacations at the beach, and had a great appreciation for cars. He somehow always knew how to fix things – construction or life-wise – he was always the one you could go to for help. Paul loved his family more than life itself and whatever he did, he always gave 110%. He inspired that same zeal for life in his family and friends. 

Paul is survived by his wife Sandra, whom he met at the tender age of 11 and stayed happily married to for 45 years.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Paul Sr., his Mother, Emily, and sister Paula.  Paul leaves behind his loving daughters Keela and Christie Wilson; his only son, Paul and his wife Dlorah; and his only grandchild Naiema Simone. He is also survived by his sisters Gwen, Donella, Lorei; Clarisse and her husband Robert Weems; brother-in-law Keadrick Washington, his wife Ruann and sister-in-law Davida Washington and Cheri Johnson; nieces and nephews: Aundre Wheeler, Denise Oxford-Hubbard, Corey Thomas, and Ravon Weems; a host of grand nieces and nephews and his only uncle Robert Wilson. 

A virtual memorial will be held at 11:00am, January 23, 2021 and in-person Celebration of Life will be held at 112 Church St, Decatur, GA 30030 starting at 1pm.
