Throughout my whole life, people from all walks of life would often say "your dad is a cool guy".
They are correct!
What made him "cool" is simple....
To be cool is to be open to listening and learning from anyone anywhere anytime.
Being cool is not only a social persons game.
It is actually easy to be cool and be a person of few words.
If you keep an open ear to hear and a constant desire to learn, others gravitate towards you and you become.... "Cool".
Other times people have said, "your dad is a great guy".
This has happened frequently especially in this last decade.
(especially in his senior exercise class where he was the only male)
Being great is a little harder....
Being great takes self discipline, hard work and sacrifice as you make yourself your best.
BUT
then moving all your personal greatness over and making room for whomever is next to you
and letting them show their great stuff.
this is the secret to being great: lettings others be great.
My dad was COOL and GREAT
all the way
to his very last breath.
