Due to gathering restrictions in this time of COVID-19, a very small celebration honoring Nicholas' life will be held on July 11th, which would have been his 18th birthday.  A video of the celebration will be recorded and posted here the following week.  If you would like to share a memory or sentiment on Saturday, please contact Tracy Hensley at tracy62668@yahoo.com.  She will gladly read it on your behalf.
Welcome to the Nicholas Haag memorial page. The purpose of this page is twofold. First, to celebrate the life of Nicholas Haag, a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend who departed this world on June 23, 2020. Second, you will find information about ways to support the Haag family. Please enjoy reading about Nicholas’ remarkable life. Help bring healing to his family, and keep his memory alive by sharing your condolences and/or stories about Nicholas. (For those viewing from cell phones, the memories and condolences section is located under the “posts” tab.) If you would like to honor his memory in other ways, please consider donating to one of the following charitable organizations in his name: Isabella Santos Foundation: https://www.isabellasantosfoundation.org The Trevor Project https://www.thetrevorproject.org The Black Lives Matter Movement https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/#victims The Haag family will host a donation drive to benefit the Child Life department of Levine Children's Hospital on behalf of Nicholas when the hospital is able to accept donations again. They are especially hoping to collect items for the older youth and teens such as puzzles, books, gift cards, teen coloring books, markers, fidgets, etc. Finally, many people have generously offered to provide the family with meals during this difficult time. A calendar has been created at carecalendar.org. The calendar ID is 292209 and the security code is 3916.
