The ever-loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Lola (grandmother) and friend will be forever remembered and sorely missed by many. Mila was truly one of a kind and has always been known for her exuberant approach to life. In 1969, she emigrated from the Philippines to the United States with her husband to build their American dream. Along with her husband, Mars B. Gonzaga MD, they proudly raised their three children in Cushing, Oklahoma. For a great portion of her life, she was the Business Office Manager for her husband’s family practice, The Doctor’s Clinic in Drumright, Oklahoma. Mila was a one woman cheering section. Always a staunch supporter of the Cushing community, she was well-known for cheering at sporting events not only for Cushing, but also supporting Casady School in Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma Sooners. Mila and family attended the Presbyterian Church in Cushing, as well as, Life.Church in Edmond, OK. She never missed out on the opportunity to boast of her love for both friends and family, especially her six grandchildren. May she always be remembered for her infectious energy and passion for life.
Mila will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years Mars Baldoza Gonzaga; one son Marc Gonzaga; two daughters, Michelle Wear and husband, Chris of Virginia Beach, VA, and Marsha Johnson and husband, Brad of Chandler, AZ. Her six grandchildren Bryson, Finley, Marli, Parker, Bradshaw and Brielle will fondly remember their Lola. She is also survived by countless other family and friends.
To honor Mila, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Casady School Chapel, St. Edward the Confessor located at 9500 N.
