The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. We value inclusivity, community, accountability, agility, and integrity. Our commitment to transparency, research, and diversity and inclusion helps to fulfill our vision: a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
In 2021, the Alzheimer's Association invested over $70 million in research, launched two new campaigns "Any Given Moment" and "More Time", and strengthened partnerships with faith-based communities. The Alzheimer's Association's powerful advocacy witnessed the Improving HOPE for Alzheimer's Act signed into law through the Association's leadership. At the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's participants walked in small groups in their neighborhoods to raise $86 million. less

Michelle was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. In She was a very loving and caring person who touched so many lives in her 71 years. She is Survived by her Son Kevin, 2 Granddaughters Madisen and Kylee, Daughter in law Heather, Sister in law Judy and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was a second mom to all of Keith and my friends growing up and throughout our lives.
Michelle grew up in Southern California attending Arroyo High School, where she played volleyball her freshman year. She enjoyed going to the beach and watching her brother Denis play Baseball. She earned her AA degree in liberal arts at Rio Hondo College. Right after college she worked at Innovative Vocational experts as the office manager, after a few years at IVE she decided to start her own company, transcribing reports, called You Rap I Tap, She would help our high school friends write their essays as well. She then moved to Redondo Beach and worked at Air Products and chemicals as and administrative assistant and system administrator, then she worked at Ortho Neutrogena as a senior marketing coordinator. She then moved to Casta Del Sol in Mission Viejo and worked at Concordia University as the administrative assistant to the Dean of Arts and Sciences.
She enjoyed crafting, sewing blankets and bibs for friends. She loved her dogs, Muffin, Ebony, Pebbles and Belle. She was a big time sports fan. She enjoyed watching and cheering on her LA Teams, The Dodgers, Lakers, and Kings, her favorite sport though that she enjoyed watching is Tennis. She attended the2003 French Open. She was an amazing athlete who enjoyed playing soccer, volleyball, softball, but her true passion was on the tennis court.
We have so many wonderful memories of Mom like Our family road trips to Ventura to visit our Grandparents and Uncle, spending our days at Seaward beach, and stopping at Spencers gifts in Oxnard on the way home were always incredible adventures, pre cell phone era. She loved attending our baseball games and soccer matches when we were kids and throughout our High School years. Keith and I really enjoyed going to Stimson Park and playing soccer and tennis with mom growing up. I had the privilege to play in the coed doubles round robin at Alta Vista tennis club in Redondo Beach with her, playing and winning with my mom are memories I cherish.
Michelle was always a very positive person who was always smiling. She really delighted in helping others. Her missionary trip to Nairobi, Africa bringing sewing machines to donate to the community and show them how to use the machines is one example of Michelle donating her time to help others.

One night Michelle and I went out to a club in Anaheim. They played Western Music – a lot like Gillies in TX. The club was near the Anaheim Stadium.
We both had an awesome time and that’s when she decided to call me ‘PA’ – Party Animal. From then on that was all she ever called me.
Michelle was always there for me when-ever I needed help. She would help with my business documents. She also helped me with my resume’ whenever it needed to be updated and I needed an extra opinion. She always had great ideas.
The last time Michelle and I were together was for Keith & Heather’s party for baby Madisen when she turned One Year Old in Huntington Beach.
I’ll always remember Michelle happy, with a smile on her face. Very up-beat and always ready to have some fun.
I was sad when she moved away from HH. But I was happy she would be near her boys and Heather.
I only wish we could have spent more time together…
With Love and Blessings to a dear friend and Loving Soul,
