Preceded in death by her mother Hermelinda Silva of Witchia Falls, TX, father Ventura Catano of Knoxcity, Texas, brother Alfred Catano of Witchia Falls, TX and sister Silvia Catano of Abiene, TX.

Survived by husband Robert Zamora Sr., daughter Melinda Zamora, son Robert Zamora, daughter and son in-law Melissa and Ivan Jordan. Eight grandchildren: Michael and Nicholas McDonough and spouses Mariel Boeyink and Alex Olinger. Alexander Zamora, Ariel Adbel and Alicia Jordan. Daren and Zack Catano.

Many Nephews and nieces as well as many foster children and foster grandchildren relatives and friends.

Maria "Mary" Elena Zamora lived a lovingly fufilled life of giving to others as she cared for everyone. A true matriarch of her family and friends she was full of love and kindness to everyone she knew and always gave more then she had. 

As a foster-mother she did everything she could to help show children in her care a familly they may not have had and help point them into a fulfilling future. She care for everyone as if they were her own and gave all the love she had. She was a saint on earth and her family and friends will miss her more then she could ever imagine.
