Margie Jo Clements-Dawson, age 85, passed away peacefully with the Lord by her side on July 1^st after a courageous fight due to multiple medical complications. Margie was a graceful, virtuous God-fearing woman and lived a long rich, beautiful life who was deeply loved by many.  She was a living testimony to the goodness of people and the greatness of God and fearlessly gave her life to Him every day.

She was a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, now late husband Dr. Jerry F. Dawson whom she married in 1952, and they enjoyed their life in ministry together for nearly 54 years. 

Margie cherished all her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and friends and at the very core of who she was, served as an anchor of relentless faith and empowered each of us daily through her love.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents Elzie and Lois Simpson Clements, by her husband Dr. Jerry F. Dawson, her son Kim Dawson, and her sister Sherry Kuykendall.

Survivors include son Carey Dawson of Denver, Colorado; daughter Jamie Barksdale and husband Steven of Athens, Texas; daughter-in-law Sharon Dawson of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren including Cara Reeser and husband Ben, Courtney Dawson, Brandy Dawson, Emma Dietert and husband Bradley, Zachary Dawson; Dawson Barksdale and wife Kali, Darby Barksdale; Michael Hogan and wife Robin; James Bauserman and wife Tiffany; nine great-grandchildren Ethan, Alyssa and Alexis Reeser; Landri and Libby Barksdale; Walter and Louise Hogan; Gabriel and Alice Bauserman; brothers Elzie Clements and wife Penny of White Settlement, Texas; Tommy Clements and wife Glenda of Aztec, New Mexico.  Margie is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends all over the world.
