Lydia Pena Diaz, of Everett, WA, passed away at 5:00 PM, Saturday April 4, 2020 at Bethany Pacific Everett, WA. She was born May 7, 1928 in Augilars, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Antonio, her son, Charles, and her daughter in law, Audry along with her two grandsons, Carson and Preston. Lydia was a long time resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. Lydia looked forward to everyday. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds in her yard in CorpusChristi. The birds always brought a smile to her face. In 2009, Lydia and Antonio made a big decision to move to Washington State to be closer to her son and his family. She loved seeing the mountains and the trees in Washington State. But, she missed her friends, house, tamales, menudo and homemade flour tortillas that gave her comfort in Texas. Her heart never left Texas. Lydia loved sending cards, no special occasion was needed. She wanted people to know they were loved and that she cared about them. Lydia always referred to her only child, Charles as her Angel. Once her twin grandsons were born, she had her 3 angels. She adored her angels.
