Ms. Julie “Wavy” Donahue-Campbell (née Sigmon) passed away peacefully at home on February 22^nd, 2021 in Baltimore, MD at the age of 81.

Julie is survived by two daughters, Terri Schappell and Chris Donahue of Baltimore; one brother, George Sigmon of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer Schappell, Brad Schappell (Jessie), Lindsay Donahue (Dan), Leonard Donahue (Lara), Troy Donahue, Emily Donahue, Danielle Donahue, Branden Felix, Derick Donahue (Staci), John Donahue (Debra), Jake Graas, Doug Stanko (Megan) and Bethany Donahue (Andrew); twenty-four great grandchildren, Mitchell, Quinn, Destini, Dylan, Hailee, Jazmine, Lilly, Willow, Nyla, Shaelyn, Thomas, Haden, Trenton, Lillian, Camren, Rylee, Cayden, Juliann, Edward, Matthew, Anthony, Makaylee, Kaydence, A’ziyah, Hayden and Jalen; one great-great grandchild, Wyatt; a good friend, Irene Woodall, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by three sons, Tom Donahue III, Bill Donahue, and Chuck Donahue; two grandchildren, Candice and Thomas IV; both of her parents, and thirteen siblings.

Julie was the fourteenth of fifteen children, born on April 1, 1939 in Julian, West Virginia to Belva Davis and Iva Lovica Sigmon.

Julie was a talented singer and poet and would often write and play her own compositions. She was a generous, witty, and dedicated matriarch who loved spending time with family and close friends. To her nieces and nephews, she was affectionately referred to as Aunt Wavy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 3^rd at Hawk's Pleasure Club, 430 Riverside Drive in Essex, Md 21221 at 2:00 pm with a catered reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Julie’s life. Please respond to this online obituary with accepts or regrets by March 26th.
