On Monday November 9th, our beloved dad unexpectedly passed away. In his words, he now is "singing in the greatest choir ever assembled." He was a dedicated and uplifting husband, the most loving and supportive father to his kids, the solid rock of his family, a loyal friend, a wise teacher, and the best listener in the world. He had a special way of making every individual feel seen and welcome, and could give a positive perspective to any situation. He was so many things to so many people and will be deeply missed on this earth. We are so grateful for the extra time we were given with him and can take comfort in the fact that he is now resting with Jesus.
This is a platform to honor and remember our dad, Jay Tornquist; a husband, dad ,son, brother, teacher, coach, mentor, and friend to all. As a family, we find such joy in reading and sharing memories and stories of Dad. He surely has impacted so many and we want to treasure and carry on his legacy with and through you all as you all were such a big part of his life. His love ran deep, that has been evident.
There is no way to thank you all individually but our family is beyond grateful for all of you lifting us up, keeping us fed and praying for strength for tomorrow as we look forward to the day we are united once again.
"...Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy Cometh in the Morning."
