Mr Hoff was one of the BEST at Wisdom - the heart and soul; a gentle giant! He will be missed so much. His smile was infectious and his kindness was contagious. We are all better for having crossed his path. I will miss him tremendously! 😢

Personally, he taught me a great deal about world history, politics, and public service. Greg made a difference in the lives of students and staff every single day with his gentle smile, calm nature and courageous heart. He will be greatly missed! My deepest condolences to his family.

Thanks to everyone at Wisdom Lane for taking my brother into your “family.” He loved you all and loved going to “work” with you! Your comments and prayers are very much appreciated!

I remember one tournament which ran overtime. My chess partner and I stayed to do paperwork. We must have been in the office for about 30 or 40 minutes. When we got out to the parking lot, Greg was sitting in his car waiting for us to leave. He said that it was dark and he wanted to make sure we got to our cars safely! We were so Blessed to have this Gentleman in our lives and will miss him dearly. less

Greg will be missed greatly at Wisdom Lane. His cheerful hellos and infectious laugh filled our hallways. We were blessed to have him as part of our Wisdom Family.

Greg was one of most cheerful, upbeat, and humble people I've ever known at Wisdom Lane Middle School. He was always a gentleman. His humor and good spirit were contagious. It was an honor to work with him. He was a great guy who will be greatly missed.
I worked with Greg at Wisdom Lane. I always loved to have conversations with him. He was such a sweet, kind, hardworking man. Greg had the best laugh. He will be missed. 💕

Always with a smile on his face, I looked forward to taking our breaks together with a cup of coffee and a reminiscent story or two he just loved to tell. He always volunteered to help anyone who had a school event, and was with us since the beginning of our chess tournaments, staying all day, guiding students and parents, or just placing himself wherever he felt needed. Never a complaint, always a smile! (I don’t think he knew how to complain!) He really loved his job, and it showed. Then there was our mutual love of music, especially classic rock! And it always came up in every conversation, no matter what the original topic was! I’ll be playing some Moody Blues (the favorite) this weekend. We will miss him. I will miss you Greg. My prayers and condolences to the family. Nancy Racanelli less

As it took me 15 minutes to figure how to log in and another bunch of minutes to my first picture to upload, I can't help but think that Uncle Greg and Grandma would be laughing at my technological ineptness.
Sending you all of our love and support... moreAs it took me 15 minutes to figure how to log in and another bunch of minutes to my first picture to upload, I can't help but think that Uncle Greg and Grandma would be laughing at my technological ineptness.
Sending you all of our love and support today and always. I am lucky to have had such a wonderful, smart, well-read, funny, proud, supportive, and hard-working uncle to have learned so much from over my 41 years of existence...so many wonderful memories, and a bunch memorable car rides, adventures, and trips to a variety of special, exciting destinations throughout the state over so many years!
I am confident that all of my cousins would agree....we are all very blessed and so lucky to have Uncle Greg as our uncle! Chris and Alexx, you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are always here for you. less
