Gordon Roberts was a beloved husband, father and grandfather to his family. To know Gordon was to know his infectious laugh, smile and sense of humor -- all which made being around him a joy. He adored his wife, kids and grandchildren and had the blessing of being able to share lots of time over the years with those who were so important to him. Needless to say, Gordon will be terribly missed.
In recent years, Gordon and his wife Judy resided in Panorama City in Lacey, Washington. Gordon enjoyed singing in the Panorama Choir, singing in the Lacey Presbyterian Church choir, playing pool, and hanging out in his office (affectionately called the "Dog House"), playing games and doing puzzles with wife Judy. Even when he battled serious health conditions he kept his spirits high. This battle eventually took him from us, but we know we will see him again. For now, Gordon is with Jesus in heaven, free from pain, and singing praises to the One who called him home.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Judy, daughters Kim and Kelly, son Michael, step-daughter Julie, step-son Jeff, and 6 beautiful grandchildren - Malcolm, Michelle, Grace, Rebekah, Lily, and Henry.
This memorial is set up in the hopes that you would share your memories and stories as a way to preserve the life that he lived. Until the day we see you again Gordon/Dad/Grandpa, we want you to know that we loved you immensely and were so grateful for the time we got to share with you.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Panorama Benevolent Fund in memory of Gordon Roberts or Providence Sound Homecare and Hospice - Lacey.
