Dearest Friends & Family - we have created a memorial to celebrate Gary's life. Gary was a precious human, a beautiful husband, a loving son/brother, and a faithful friend.
We hope that sharing your stories and memories here will provide you some comfort and keep us all connected as we all grieve the loss of my irreplaceable husband and learn how to live without him. Thank you for the overwhelming outpouring of love and care we have received from those who loved him.
Gary has specifically requested that there be no funeral or religious services and that his body be cremated. As we coordinate a virtual memorial event we will post the information here.
We invite you to celebrate his life in the ways your heart and personal faith requires for you to heal. We know that he will be missed. The world will not be the same without his love, compassion, empathy, joy, or light.
Sincerely, Shanna Forrestall (his wife)

GIVING IN MEMORIAL
Since the Covid19 Crisis has caused a delay in all of the steps involved, we will post memorial information here as the details are finalized. If you knew and loved Gary, you know he was a loyal life-long fan of the Raider football franchise.
If you would like to donate funds as a memorial to Gary, we'd ask you to consider donating to the Biletnikoff Foundation. This non-profit was important to him and was started by a former Raider football player.
http://www.biletnikoff.org/about/
The mission of the Biletnikoff Foundation is to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff’s life and her untimely death and to enable young people to realize their full potential through the support of community and education programs that effectively address the related problems of substance abuse, human trafficking, and domestic violence.
Thank you.
