Eugene Ware was born in Chester County South Carolina on December 2, 1926. He was the son of the late Isabelle Brown Ware and the late Mannie Ware Sr.
Gene, as he was call by his loved ones, worked in construction and was a member of the Local Union 3. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954, and he remembered those times until the end of his life.
Gene loved his family and friends and always lit up whatever room he was in. An avid baseball fan, he loved the Mets but would watch any team that was on the television. He was known for his directness and for how good looking he thought he was. Even the Mortician said, "He sure has some good hair." Gene truly lived his life his way.
He was married to the late Dorothy Mcclurkin for 65 years. The union produced four children, Denise Ware (deceased) Elaine Ware (deceased) Regina Ware and Stephanie Ware. Three grandchildren, Marc Ware (deceased) Marcus Ware and Kimberly Ware. And one great grandson, Marcus Daniel Ware.
Daddy Ware will truly be missed
