Gene radiated love everywhere he went. Indeed Gene defined love. Gene was a fire that burned bright. In the last few days Salima and Gene's family have heard from so many people near and far who stood in the warmth and light of his fire and found it illuminated what is best about them. That's what Gene did. He made each one of us become the best version of ourselves. I think we all have our own memories and stories of our moments with Gene and as a family we would love to hear them all. We are receiving so many beautiful tributes from all over the world. Beautiful heartfelt stories. Gene related to people from all walks of life. He was an empathetic father, uncle, brother and friend. He valued character over pedigree. He looked for the good in each person and usually found it. He taught us, his family, to do the same. We have created this virtual memorial page to enable his many friends and family leave a story, a photo or a memory so we can celebrate this beautiful life.
