Dolores had an ear for music, being an accomplished piano teacher. She provided service as an instrument of healing to others. Roses flourished in her yard. Mrs. Green loved to read, study and engage in interesting discussions over Torah. She is deeply missed.
Earlier today, her body was laid to rest in Eretz HaChaim Cemetery, in the Judean hills outside Jerusalem. https://www.eretzhachaim.org/
As close friends of the family, we sit sheva with them this week, especially remembering this first Shabbat without her joyful presence with us here on earth.
After I got married, there was an unexpected delay in joining my husband in the U.S. Upon learning the news, Dolores instantly invited me to come stay in their guest room. She was very generous in her hospitality. 🏡
Dolores showed such appreciation. One time I arrived after candle lighting, without a table gift to contribute, and her response was that I was the gift. 🎀

A Psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He guideth me in straight paths for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
