Nancy Diana Cutter, 72, of Westfield, IN, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2020. She was predeceased by her mother, Edna Slaughter, father, SgtMaj. Ralph Coleman Slaughter Jr. (retired) and infant brother Ralph Coleman III. She is survived by her husband, MSgt. Frank Cutter (retired), sisters Linda and Betty, 2 children, Steven (Trish), and Stephanie (Dan), 3 grandchildren, Wesley (Brandy), Tyson, and Coleman, and 1 great-grandchild, Oliver.
The eldest child, she was born in Gastonia, NC from a proud Marine Corps family which brought her to Morocco where she met and married Frank Cutter in 1969. Throughout her childhood and as a faithful Marine Corps wife, she lived and travelled around the world visiting places such as Hawaii, Spain, Italy, and Morocco, but her heart always belonged to North Carolina.
She enjoyed beaches, lunches with her friends, spending time with her family, and was an avid reader.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be provided to the Alzheimer’s Association.
