Francis Dean Emery, 92, was born June 25, 1928 in Bunker Hill, Illinois, to the late John Wesley, Sr. and Frances Marie Maxwell Emery. Mr. Emery passed on October 10, 2020 within the comfort of his home surrounded by family in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

He worked many years with the US Postal service as a carrier AKA “The Whistling Mailman”. Mr. Emery was an avid Colorado Rockies, St. Louis Cardinals and Denver Broncos Fan. He loved playing with and spoiling his grand and great-grandchildren. Proudly serving this grateful nation Francis joined the United States Army during WWII.

Mr. Emery was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings: Maxine Emery, Edger Lyle Emery, Shirley Emery Shultz, Robert Merle Emery and John Wesley Emery, Jr., his beloved wife; Etta Pearl Blanscet Emery and a daughter; Pamela Emery Smith.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Francis will be his daughter; Rhonda McCoy, three granddaughters: Melinda Glasco, Jennifer Nuckolls, and Sarah Leighton, six great-grandchildren: Brooke Fields, Connor Shaw, Kenna Shaw, Asher Leighton, Emily Glasco and Isabella Leighton, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Etta Pearl Emery 86, was born August 25, 1933 in San Angelo, Texas to the late John William and Naomi Olivia Lee Blanscet. She was called to her Heavenly home on June 29, 2020 in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Etta provided for her family while working at Safeway as a marketing and advertisement secretary. She retired from her career after twenty-eight years of dedicated services. Etta enjoyed watching her Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. She loved spending time, spoiling and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five siblings: William Blanscet, Mildred Cox, Carl Blanscet, Joe Blanscet, Donald Blanscet and one daughter; Pamela Kay Smith.

Left to cherish Etta’s beautiful memories will be her beloved husband; F. Dean Emery, one daughter; Rhonda McCoy, three granddaughters: Melinda Glasco, Jennifer Nuckolls, Sarah Leighton, five great-grandchildren: Brooke Fields, Connor Shaw, Kenna Shaw, Asher Leighton, Emily Glasco, numerous extended family members.
