Carole Nadeau -- wife, mother and entrepreneur -- passed away Wednesday September 16th, following a brief and unexpected illness.
Born February 8th in Quebec, Canada to Napoleon and Cecile Nadeau, Carole was a force of nature. She had a passion for creative expression that was explored in handmade jewelry, cooking and, ultimately, the profession of Interior Design.
It’s with humble beginnings, Carole’s business of creating atmospheres grew to be 30 years of honing her skills in color, light, spacing and staging. Her talent was only surpassed by her unyielding need for beauty through balance and she brought that need for balance to every client she served.
When Carole wasn't finding order in the chaos of creativity, she enjoyed the indulgence of prepping a warm meal and relaxing in her home. With the only precursor to relaxation being a ceiling to baseboard cleaning of the kitchen, barking out the occasional instruction at passersby and shrewd stare given to a coaster-less glass. Her cleaning was a laughable part of how she communicated a welcome to her home and will be missed.
She is survived by a loving husband, two beautiful daughters and four doting sisters. A private gathering will be held for immediate family and a few close personal friends. The family wishes to express special thanks to the caring staff at JFK Medical Center for their dedication to Carole’s intensive care needs.
