Cara Quinn Buller, age 35, passed away on August 12, 2020 at her home with her children in Baton Rouge. She was born November 29, 1984.
Cara is survived by her fiancé, Nick Schoenfeldt, her two children Ezra Liam Theriot and Collins Vanessa Kobetz; two sisters, Katelynn Buller Shackelford and her husband, Justin Shackelford, and Teddi Nicole Buller. Cara is also survived by her parents, Ted Vernon Buller and Vanessa Dawn Buller; her beloved Aunt Carrie Lee Benham; as well as her paternal grandmother Delores Buller.
Cara graduated from Westminster Christian Academy in 2002 and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Cara loved to read and write. She was often found lost in a book or downloading copious amounts of ebooks. She enjoyed journaling and loved to write about her interpretation of the world around her. She loved photography and photo editing. Cara loved to play with makeup and fashion and could lost in her art for hours. Cara was the oldest of three girls and spent her life either teaching them what not to do or aiding them in getting into trouble. Cara’s pride, joy, and purpose in life were her children. She was an amazing mother and not a day will pass her children will not know of the love their mother had for them.
A memorial service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church on August 22, 2020 beginning at 2 p.m. A visitation with the family will follow across the street at the Spiritwind building.
