Arlene R. Grundstrom, 81, died peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 8th.
She leaves her daughter Jodi D. Sweeney and her husband Carl of Southbridge, her son William K. Grundstrom of Florence, grandchildren Kyle L. Arlene R. Grundstrom, 81, died peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 8th.
She leaves her daughter Jodi D. Sweeney and her husband Carl of Southbridge, her son William K. Grundstrom of Florence, grandchildren Kyle L. Pelletier, Kirsti & Nicolas Sweeney, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Arlene is recently predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years William H. "Bill" Grundstrom and her identical twin sister Pauline F. Jonasch.
Arlene worked her entire life in the restaurant and entertainment industry before retiring.
She was born in Northbridge, Ma, the daughter and "first twin" of Edward R.& Ethel (Heron) St. Laurent, and graduated from Grafton High School.
Arlene was an avid cook and loved to entertain people. She loved animals, especially her cats and spent years breeding and showing Himalayan cats in her younger years. She was a proud grandmother and New England Sports fan, and also enjoyed playing cards with her family.
Private services will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, Ma.
