I wish I had more pictures of Chris, but he was usually the one behind the camera. I still have a few pictures and prints from his Senior Showcase at CSUEB. Beautiful pictures of bridges and buildings and skylines. But most people don’t know the lengths he’d go to just to get those perfect shots. He’d drive hours and hop fences and climb buildings. A lot of times he’d bring me along, but I would just wait in the car because I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up. I was always in awe of his energy and his fearlessness.
Chris loved photography and the Smashing Pumpkins and baseball and Spider-Man. I remember the goofy smile on his face when I showed him this grad cap that I had decorated for him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Valentine family. Miss you, Chris.
