It’s times like this that challenge our faith as I often wonder how a person so full of goodness and life can be taken away so young. How unfair life can be!!

Although I don’t know your family all that well our hearts pour out to them for their loss. We certainly felt like you were a part of ours. I personally learnt so much from you Cal which you probably weren't even aware of. You made me a much better person, acepting people for their differences and never judging a book by its cover.

Walking the Kokoda track with you in 2017 was one of the most enjoyable and worthy things I have completed to date and I know you shared the same sentiment. I feel so sad and guilty that I kept putting off climbing Mt Wilhelm with you due to other commitments. I promise you I will find the time to complete the trek this year for the both of us.

This world is at a loss now that you have passed on big guy. I only wish good things for you my brother and I know your now spreading your love and infectious personality wherever you might be. RIP my brother until we meet again
