He taught classical electrodynamics a tough course taught by a brilliant Professor. He decided to give an oral final since it seems many could only partially solve the test questions; with great nervousness I got an A from him. Later I met him once at USC when I was a postdoc. He was very kind and friendly. I quite often searched for him in Google and found his photo with reverence. Today 3/26/2025 only , I came to know that he had passed away. He is my Physics hero and in spite of several years now, I convey my condolences.
