On Delores’ paternal side, her lineage winds its way through the Southern United States and stretches back to Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Her father, Fred, was born in 1905 to William Russel and Cynthia Oregon Keith. Following the maternal Keith line of her father's roots, her 4th great-grandfather immigrated to the United States from Aberdeenshire, Scotland and settled in the dreamy town of Winchester, Tennessee. Delores' Keith clan heritage traces back to Sir George Keith of Aberdeenshire, 8th Lord of Marischal, and Lady Mary. Beyond this, records stretch into the 1600s, and settle in Stonehaven, Kincardineshire, Scotland.
