News of Alex's passing hit me hard. I knew him from SAE Singapore and Jakarta, where we became friends. His sense of humor, and his sense of humanity, were both acute. He is sorely missed. Attached is a photo of Alex, myself and Mark Kneer, all SAE'ers, at our regular bar in Jakarta. Captain Morgan paid a visit so we all got silly hats. RIP Alex!
