Patti Roper's Album: Wall Photos

Molly was our next door neighbor on Quarry Court in Gunbarrel. We remember sharing so many laughs. We loved her and her work. We attended several of her art shows and cherish having one of her beautiful paintings.

I’ll never forget the morning we left Boulder for Sarasota almost five years ago. Wil and I stayed up all night packing and cleaning and we were exhausted. Molly came over to say goodbye in the morning. We still had the garage to sweep out but she insisted that we get on the road and that she would take care of this final part. We were all in tears saying goodbye.

She was an incredibly kind, strong, talented, fun, beautiful, brilliant person, not to mention an original Boulder treasure and icon. Her work to keep Boulder’s Open Space truly open to all and preserve the trails through her paintings are an important part of her legacy…gifts that we enjoy today and hopefully will continue to enjoy in the future. She had such an amazing zest for life. We really loved her and missed her so much after our move. I'm glad to hear that Dot has a good home with Pauluhn Family!!

She will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to her son and family.
