Oliver. His very name brings a smile to my heart.

His soul, so gentle, warm and pure could edit darkness into light.

Memories of hysterical laughter and sweet moments have been flooding back to me this week.

As a little boy he was absolutely darling. It was impossible not to smile when Oliver would walk into a room. He had an energy about him that was comforting, soothing, endearing and larger than life.

I loved family movie nights and hearing his precious laugh.

When he would form plans for various shenanigans with his siblings he would have THE sweetest smile plastered to his face. I loved that innocent, pure joy smile.

Oliver was so affectionate and I adored the way he would snuggle up to his big brothers. Years between them did not hinder their bond.

I admired how love flowed so effortlessly and abundantly from Oliver. The unique to him twinkle in his eyes was priceless. Almost like he could see a person for their soul and not just what was in front of him.

It did not take long until "Little Oliver" was towering over me in height but even as a grown man, he retained his endearing quailties from his early years and never outgrew his authentic "hellos" and tight hug "goodbyes".

Simple moments have left extraordinary gifts in my heart. From Sunday night popcorn nights to playing in the canyon or on the trampoline, movie nights, or even epic car rides to the coast, Oliver added immeasurable value to life.

Oliver, your presence was a tremendous gift and your physical absence has left an incredible hole in our hearts. ♡
