I first met Catherine when I started attending UPC back in 1992. I recall watching her serve regularly on the worship team with other people like William. I enjoyed her gift of music through her singing and body worship. Victor and I were honored when she sang a Song of Dedication at our wedding. In the Spring of 2017, on the way to the Bay Area for a college tour, we visited Catherine and William at their home in Dublin. Catherine and William were a delightful couple, full of joy and hospitality. She shared how she had been called to start an Asian American Parents group in the East Bay. Catherine was truly a loving mom; she nurtured and shared in her children's interest enthusiastically. One fun story is that Catherine had captured a praying mantis and other critters for her children to enjoy as their pets. Catherine was a warm, loving and sincere person. We will treasure the wonderful memories of all that Catherine stood for and use those memories as an inspiration for us to express more loving-kindness toward those around us.
