I never met Chris in person, but every day after 3rd period our teacher would put us in a breakout room on Zoom. We'd talk about everything and nothing at all. I can't share any specific memory of him and I, but I can tell you that the nicknames we had for each other and the I love you's never went unsaid before we'd log off for the day. He was the best leader I've ever met, so when I lead Shorewood's GSA with another member, I'll always think "What would Chris do?" He will always be in my heart and my thoughts, and I will always love him more than I could ever express.
