O'Neill Family's Album: Wall Photos

We were very saddened to hear about the passing of George. He was such a fun loving and generous gentleman who made an big impact on all who met him. It has taken us a while to write as we are still in disbelief that he was taken from you so quickly and so young. Recalling when we spent time with George, Anne, Ryan and Clare some years back gives a perfect example of the type of person he was.
While on holiday in California (all the way from Ireland!) we had a medical emergency and needed somebody to look after our 4 children aged 10 to 18 at the time. Not only did the Griffins come to our rescue but George organised scuba gear and a neighbour's pool to entertain our kids for the day. With this type of entertainment we are not sure our kids even missed us! We got to spend the next few days in their company and our time in LA became a highlight of the holiday.
A special memory for our daughters is George bringing them and Clare to open houses in the Beverly Hills area pretending they were in the market for some very expensive houses. How he managed to critique the houses with a straight face without laughing was definitely a skill.
George will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Hopefully the many happy and laughter filled memories of him will be a comfort in your times of sadness.
May George Rest in Peace
