Judi was my teacher at the Davis Waldorf School from 2nd grade through 8th. She was a founding teacher and graduated the first 8th grade class. My memories of her include countless camping trips, class plays, choir performances and dodge ball. We weren't an easy bunch, especially as we approached our teen years, but she had so much love for us and she will always be remembered. This picture of her at our 7th grade track meet perfectly captures her spirit. Rest in peace Mrs. Mattson.
