JOE ZENNA. I love you as much as is in my capacity to love. I cannot think of a friend I was ever closer to and more happy to be with than you. You will always be in my thoughts and daily doings from the time we met some 21 years ago through the end of my life here.

JOE ZENNA. We were good together, whether working, playing or helping family, the connection we had transcended the need for speech. You always lifted me up when I needed it and were always appreciative of my support for you. I often thought of us as a pair of work shoes worn equally and knowing the other one’s every move.

JOE ZENNA. Our family trips were epic. Our late nights talking, playing games or tending to the kids only help to solidify our bond with each other while we journeyed through our life experiences. A nod of the head or wink of an eye was the same as a thousand words of conversation between us, supporting and acknowledging each other’s feeling or ideas was the norm and automatic.

JOE ZENNA. We have some dam good stories together with no shame or regrets. I will cherish and recount those stories forever, and add to them in your honor as best as I can without you. Be well and at peace my brother, until we meet again, I love you.
