Gina Finelli's Album: Wall Photos

Words are never enough for a time like this…nor are they enough to encapsulate or honor a life well lived by a kind and giving soul like Deanie. Yet here I am trying to do exactly that. I will start by saying I am heart-broken, and honestly still in disbelief. Deanie entered my life over 25 years ago, when my brother Nic married Julie. And Julie and her family, became my family. I loved Deanie so much – we had fantastically deep and heartfelt conversations. She was kind, gracious, funny, and a joy to be around. And fortunately, I was able to share many memories with her and Bill, especially at life events for my nephews Leo and Eli, and niece Stella. I will miss her dearly – I know how much she loved the people I love, and I hope she knew how much we loved her.

Pace bene, Deanie. "As long as we can love each other, and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on - in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here. Death ends a life, not a relationship." (from Tuesdays with Morrie)

Love,
Gina
