Brother Jones was my beloved mentor and friend too. When I (Floyd) was baptized many years ago at 31st Street Church (San Diego) he taught me how to witness. He was a wise teacher with a unique style. He and Sister Jones brought me close and showed to me, true Christian friendship with compassion. He prayed with me at a special time since I have been in Arizona. We asked him to read the Holy Scripture at our wedding at Apache Junction church, which he did, with honor. We will truly miss him and his smile.
