My sincere condolences to the Clarke Family.
Earliest recollections of Andrew for me came during our years at Humberside. He was introduced as a friend by a friend, and I immediately felt at ease and taken by his warm and witty ways. Over time as I got to know him more, it was easy to see what a terrific person he was. Always kind and checking to see how things were in your world.
As the years went on, Andrew was always someone that I looked forward to seeing and being around. Whether it was golf, cards or just hanging out, his positivity and ability to share a funny story were always a highlight of our gatherings.
I especially enjoyed our golf trips, and Andrew hosted us one year at his cottage. He was in his element as he dearly loved that place and he was an enthusiastic and wonderful host, and you could see that he thoroughly enjoyed sharing what was so meaningful to him.
I am so sad to lose a dear friend such as Andrew. He showed the best side of all of us and was just a wonderful person. My life is certainly blessed to have known him.
He may not be with us, but he will remain among us through our thoughts and memories.
Miss you Drew!
