As I take a walk down memory lane With the loss of you Uncle Bob, I see a life time flash before my eyes. Our Family has shared so many gatherings in the past. You were there for many of us. You were there for me from the time I was born. My Parents couldn't of picked a better God Father for me. You were at my soccer games many of times showing your support. You were at many events for many of us. Showing your family support. Later on as I grew if you were not there physically you were there to lend an ear and to give me advice. You were a big support for me when my Mother (Helga) passed away. I can never thank you enough for the words you shared it showed how much you cared.

As much as we all are hurting with you having to leave, I have to try to find comfort in my mind and in my heart that you are still here with all of us with the teachings you left behind. You fought many battles in your life time. You were always a strong man doing what you needed to do to survive the challenges placed in front of you.

As we look back over time
We find ourselves wondering …..
Did we remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides
To help and support us …..
To celebrate our successes
To understand our problems
And accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgment,
Courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the things you said and done.

But

You are not gone
You are the Sunrise in the morning to awaken life's offerings
You are the sunset and evening stars that shine brightly upon us
You are the morning dew that gives life to the plants that grow
You are the fish that swim freely in the waters that give everything life
You are that Eagle flying high above our heads keeping an eye on us
The eagle that is free of pain soaring Free
You are the Ocean Waves flowing freely in the seas
for all to see and hear
You are the strength with in us that you shared
The life's teachings to show you cared

May you be resting easy up in the Heaven's above with the rest of the family
finally free of pain.
You will always be Loved dearly and missed but will be remembered in our Mind's and heart's with the footprints left behind. Uncle Bob Forever in our Hearts and minds. Love you and miss you dearly
